When we experience trauma, our minds and bodies get stuck in a state of dysregulation. As an act of self-protection, memories of the trauma are held inside us until we process and release them.
Trauma manifests in a multitude of ways:
You feel a sense of anger, worry, despair, or fear, and not know why.
You feel you have lost your sense of self.
You struggle to concentrate, to sleep, to work.
You have a sense of shame in the person that you are.
You have a tendency to take on the struggles of others.
You struggle to maintain a healthy diet – either consuming too much or too little food.
You find it difficult to trust others, making it challenging to form friendships and intimate relationships, or to accept support when you need it.
You fear conflict, or you seek out conflict and power over others.
You have a pattern of unhealthy relationships.
You struggle with unspecified pain and ongoing health struggles.
Often, what we believe is unmanageable emotions and toxic behavior is actually unresolved trauma. If you address the trauma, you resolve the conditions that manifested from the trauma that was hidden in your body and mind.
In this 4-hour workshop, you will learn foundational information to begin a journey of freedom from trauma. We provide a guided introduction to trauma in a safe, judgment-free environment.

Without boundaries there is no YOU.
Boundaries determine where you end and other people begin. In enmeshed family systems or codependent relationships there are few, if any, boundaries. When we learn how to extract ourselves from codependency, we achieve interdependence – a balance of self and others so we can connect in safe, meaningful ways.
In order to love yourself and be loved by others, you must first know who you are. In order to know who you are, you must establish boundaries – you must clearly define the space you occupy in the world, and you must give yourself permission to reside in that space.
